Trygga Tassar offers calm & loving animal care in and around Ekshärad (Värmland, Sweden).

My goal is to be a pleasant and affordable intermediate step before the vet.
Do you have a pet that could use just a little extra help, advice, or support, but doesn't immediately require a vet visit?

Then I would be happy to help brainstorm and provide support — calmly, honestly, and with great attention to the well-being of both the animal and the owner.

I can help with all kinds of daily animal care, guidance, and support. For example, grooming of coat, ears, eyes, teeth, or nails; assistance with medication or recovery; guidance for anxious or insecure animals; nutrition and general care questions; support regarding puppies or senior animals; vet visits; holiday check-ups; and much more.

About me
As a former owner of a sled dog business and a recognized Siberian Husky breeder, I have gained years of experience in the daily care, guidance, and health of animals.
​
Additionally, I completed a course in animal care and gained experience through internships and volunteer work at, among others:
- veterinarians
- horse ranches
- farms
- kennels
- catteries
​
I work calmly, honestly, and with great patience — even with anxious or sensitive animals.
Workarea and working method
Around Ekshärad (approximately 1 hour travel time).

Evenings and weekends possible.
​
Based on a message and possibly photos or videos, I will first assess the situation. Then we will discuss together what is most convenient: online advice or support, or a home visit.
Prices
Home Visit
For a home visit, a fee is charged for my time, materials used, and any travel expenses.
Ear and eye cleaning: 150 - 250 kr
Dental cleaning: 250 kr
Nail trimming: 150 kr
Wound care: 200 kr
Breeding guidance & advice: From 250 kr
          (Mating, pregnancy/birth assistance, etc.)

Travel expenses: 5 kr per kilometer from Ekshärad

All prices are guide prices, depending on the animal and the total number of treatments and animals that can be combined.

Online advice
You are always welcome to ask small questions or consult with me.
A small fee may be charged for extensive observation, longer guidance, or multiple photos/videos.​
​
Additional costs may apply in the following cases:
• urgent / same day
• Sundays or public holidays
• very anxious or aggressive animals
• materials or products left behind for further care

Payment
Payment can be made via Swish or in cash.
